Comments

When visitors leave comments, we collect the information shown in the comment form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) of your email may be shared with Gravatar to check if you’re using that service. Once approved, your Gravatar profile picture will be visible next to your comment per Gravatar’s privacy policy.

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid embedding location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any such data from images posted here.

Cookies

• Leaving a comment: You may opt‑in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience; these expire after one year.

• Login page visit: A temporary cookie checks if your browser supports cookies; it is deleted when you close your browser.

• Logging in: We set cookies to store your login info (lasts two days), screen preferences (one year), and if you select “Remember Me,” your session lasts two weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.

• Editing/publishing an article: An additional cookie stores the post ID you edited; expires after one day.
